GUEST AT THORNS
At Thorns, we believe in the power of creativity and collaboration. We love hosting talented artists from all around the world to bring fresh perspectives and unique artistry to our community. That's why we are passionate about providing a space in the Bay Area where tattooers of all kinds can connect, inspire one another, and create tattoo magic together.
Whether it be just for a week or an extended period of a couple of months, we have a dedicated guest station and are excited to invite you to work with us.
STUDIO RATES, SCHEDULING AND SUPPLIES
At Thorns you’ll have a work station stocked with all the tools and disposables you need to ensure a smooth session. We have a back patio and a dedicated artist drawing area. We provide Dynamic Black and Triple Black Ink, however guests must bring their own specialty and color inks, as well as their own power supplies, cables, machines, tubes and needles.
We are happy to arrange shipping or purchasing supplies directly to the shop to make your travels easier.
Thorns will promote your stay, however all guest artists are primarily responsible for their own promotion and booking their own appointments.
Our guest rate is 30% with an $80 minimum and a $200 cap for the day. We deeply value long term guests and can arrange a set station rate for longer stays.
